In a shocking announcement, President Jack Tunney has bowed to public pressure and reinstated the wrestling licence of popular fighter "Macho Man" Randall Poffo.
Tunney has faced numerous criticisms over the last year for his failure to address the loud campaign spearheaded by the wrestler himself.
On last week's broadcast of WWF Wrestling Challenge, the President acknowledged that the decision was a tough one, due to wishing to respect the contractual stipulations of Poffo's match with the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VII.
During that contest, both parties had agreed that the loser of the match would be forced to retire from the sport and refrain from making any more coke–fuelled threats against current WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan.
However, there have been unconfirmed rumours that President Tunney was heard speaking to Savage in his office privately, promising to return his wrestling licence as long as he "sorted that punk Robert Douglas out [for him]".
The bulletin board Reinstate the Macho Man! has said that due to the successful campaign, along with the joke "not being funny any more", it will be changing it's name to yet another obscure reference in the coming days.
